Our Range of Hotel Fire Doors

All of our fire doors for the hospitality sector are manufactured in house and are built to your requirements by experienced, qualified engineers who use durable and sustainable materials. Our dedicated team of estimators will help you through your purchase, talking you through everything from sizing and door structure, to apertures, finishes, ironmongery and more.

All of our products can be purchased as either Fire Rated or Non Fire Rated doors – our team will talk you through this during the purchasing process.

Headstocks Range

Our Headstocks range is our most popular product when it comes to offices and meeting rooms. With just the one aperture placed in the top half of the door, this provides a professional feel and helps bring natural light into a room.

Brierley Range

The Brierley range gives you a little bit extra – providing two apertures for your door, the top aperture measures 800mm in height, whilst the bottom aperture is half the size at 400mm height for that professional mirrored look.

Bentinck Range

Our Bentinck Range is the most popular for corridors, connecting doors and classrooms. With a full length aperture measuring 1200mm in height, it’s perfect for safety when there’s big footfall flowing through corridors.

 Silver Hill Range

The Silver Hill range has various options for a bespoke finish. Includes traditional square 400x400mm apertures, with the solo product sitting in the top half of the door, whilst the duo provides a mirrored effect.

Here at Fire Doors London, we offer fire rated and non fire rated doors for a range of different business sectors, which can also offer bespoke finishes.

Importance of Fire Doors in the Hospitality sector

Fire safety is of the upmost importance when it comes to keeping staff and the general public safe within your premises. Many businesses, including those within the hospitality sector must abide by UK laws and regulations, which are clearly laid out within the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

For Hotels

If you are a hotel owner or ‘responsible owner’, every room must have a fire door to prevent fires from spreading into narrow corridors or into guest rooms. In recent years, there have been a number of high profile cases of fires within hotels, and that is why fire doors for hotels are so important so that they can help to contain the fire and reduce the risk of it spreading.

Hotels are classed as high risk for fires, as it’s almost impossible to monitor the activity of guests staying in the hotel. Guests smoking and numerous other electrical appliances being present could potentially cause a fire, and with a significant number of individuals being situated in one area at once, it makes fire doors for hotels all the more significant.

For Restaurants

Fire doors for restaurants serve the same purpose as in any other sector, however kitchen fires can be very common, therefore making fire doors for kitchen areas extremely important. If a fire was to take place in a kitchen, fire doors act as a very effective safety mechanism to prevent the fire from reaching the front of house area, putting guests at risk.

For Pubs and Clubs

Pubs and clubs need fire doors for a similar reason as restaurants, to prevent fires from reaching other areas of the building. Individuals within pubs and clubs can often be intoxicated, which can sometimes impact the overall safety of others, especially in instances where there could be a fire.

Electrical fires are very common in these environments, so having fire doors for pubs and clubs helps to contain the fire and allow all nearby individuals to evacuate the building or find safety.

For Entertainment Businesses

During shows and entertainments, there is the potential for fires due to the number of individuals that can be present at one time. Fire doors for entertainment businesses help to contain fires and allow event attendees to reach safety in an orderly manner to prevent the risk of any casualties or further damages.
